| Bio: | I am a veteran. Six years in Uncle Sam's Army, four and a half of that as a paratrooper. I went on active duty when I was 17. SEVENTEEN. I went in the Army *because* of Saddam Hussein. Do not argue with me that he's an awful bastard; I know that. I've known that for thirteen years. I happily volunteered my *LIFE* toward a change in that country. I know what we're talking about. I know what's at stake. I support our troops. I've been one of them. They are doing their jobs...jobs that politicians tell them to do. Politicians that the *people* are *supposed* to elect. I will not condemn the soldiers for decisions they did not make and can not control. The job of a soldier is itself honorable. And I will send them letters, and CARE packages, and support them in any way I can. But I do not support Dubya's war against Iraq. Not for the reasons he's stated. I don't even think he's intelligent enough to know what he's doing or why. He's certainly not got enough integrity to admit his "real" reasons. And to that end, I wish for peace. I am a drummer, a dancer, a pet lover, an engineer, a technician, an avid reader, a fan of music, a camper, an activist, a pioneer. I am Pagan, a handgun owner, a skydiver, a rules-breaker, tattooed, pierced, and someone who thinks the glass ceiling makes a nice sound and rainshower when shattered.
